I'm elated to have been of any help, dear, though I confess to generally feeling quite helpless when I hear of other people's misfortunes. But I do know what it means to have other people to feel with and understand you (or, conversely, how horrible it can be to have no-one). I have been through a rough patch here of late (entirely due to my own ineptness) and was practically reduced to tears by the niceness and sympathy of my friends here crowding round to support and encourage me. I absolutely wish the world was more like this little community...
