(It's finally back too!) Heeeeey everyone. I'm finally back here at SK, since the Sissy Space thingy has been fixed. Forever. Never to break again. Until it breaks, anyway ... I know I've been gone a long time. Over a month. I missed you all. Sorry I didn't find some other way to talk to you. What's that? The forum, you say? Hmm ... I'm not really a "forum" person. I'm more of a "give people updates, then disappear for a week" kind of person. It seems to suit everyone pretty well. Well, nobody's said anything about it yet ... *shifty eyes* So, what's been happening with Marie? Would it totally unbelievable if I said "nothing"? I guess I've had lots of fun but there's no progress on the Marie/Sarah/Sam front and the Ben/Jessie front is just as progress-less. Hmm ... oh, I got a digital camera! That's something, right? ... And no, I refuse to show any pictures of myself on the grounds that I'm ... a fraidy-cat. So there! ^_^ Besides, this is the internet. And pictures + internet = misfortune. Anyway, if you're still reading my blog, thank you sooooo much. It's nice that my McNuggets are so sweet as to stick around to read the garbage I post. I appreciate it. Marie here again, after a lengthy absence away from you all. Sorry I've been gone so long but I ... I was on a quest to find a pot of gold that some vampires had stolen from some leprechauns and, if I retrieved it for them, they said I could take my pick of the beautiful maidens they had swimming around in their ... fish tank. Yeah ... that's a fib. But the honest answer involved teaching an eighteen-year-old boy how to wet a diaper and that just makes me sound odd. As fun of a place as this is, full of great people, babies and non-babies, I don't think there are many diaper-wetting tutors. ^_^ Yeeeeeah, I'm one of a kind. That makes me feel special ... Have you ever had to make up an excuse about why you weren't where you should've been at some point? Did it suck? And have you ever heard an excuse that made you think "aw, you are SUCH a liar! Keira Knightley did NOT change your diaper last night!"? If I ever heard an excuse like that, I think I'd be mad but be waaaaay too much of a coward to bring it up with the person. Besides, I'd probably be way too busy fantasising about having my diaper changed by Keira Knightley. How awesome would that be? Say, that's a*good topic ... which celebrity would you like to treat you like*a baby? Or which celebrity would YOU like to treat like a baby? I know not everyone here is "into that" so, for all of you who are happy to just be girly-girls, who would you like to dress up with for a night out? Do you think you'd like Naomi Campbell to do your makeup or Jennifer Aniston to pick out a pair of shoes for you? ^_^ I think I'd prefer to just stay home and play videogames than do that, actually. Entry Title: Animals Entry Category: Default Category Published On: 09/18/2009 07:28 PM Awooga! ([big yawn]) Hey McNuggets, what's up? Sorry I haven't made a blog in a while. It's been kinda slow here and my chronic laziness hasn't helped. My dad used to say that I'm like a sloth with pigtails. Do sloths wear diapers? As you might be able to tell, I'm in the mood to talk about animals. Animals of all shapes and sizes (as long as they're not spider-shaped). I used to have a goldfish called Fido when I was little and he was sooooo cool. He used to swim around his bowl, eat his food cutely, dance the Bolero when nobody was looking ... he was so talented. (I've just thought of a joke! He was so talented, he won the Nobowl Prize! Okay, I'll shut up now.) I've always liked bunnies and I wanted one of them when I was little but my dad wouldn't buy one for me. He thought I'd get really sad when it finally died. I love my dad (<3) but ... duh! I know I'd be sad if I had a pet bunny and it died but that shouldn't be a reason why I shouldn't have had one, right? ... Um ... right? Maybe dad knew best. I know he wouldn't want me to be sad. That'd be hard for him to watch. Must be hard to be a dad. That was a whisker away from being a poem. I know I've talked about pets more than animals here but I really like the Ring-Tailed Lemur and Scarlet Macaw. There should seriously be a sitcom about those two animals sharing an enclosure at a zoo. Total odd-couple humour. What about you guys? Any favourite animals? Come on, what about you furries? It is currently enjoying the fine weather of the Bahamas.] Hey all. Marie again. Sorry it's been so long since my last blog, you guys, but I've been really busy with ... teaching Ben how to suck his thumb? Okay, so maybe I haven't been THAT busy but school has been rowdy for the last week, so I guess that's as good an excuse as any. Did I say "excuse"? I meant "reason". ^_^ Anyway, I basically just wanted to apologise for being an absentee mommy this past week or so (something I know about all too well, believe me). But let's focus on the here and now, this Mlog stuff. Is there anything that you guys wish you could do but can't? Like, Jessie is reeeeeally good at drawing and I sometimes wish I was too, so I could draw lots of awesome pictures for Ben and Sarah and my dad and stuff. When I was little, I thought about learning to play an instrument but I wasn't able to because of my . . . um, compulsive laziness. So that's something I'd quite like to do too. It'd be fun to play "Rock-A-Bye-Baby" on the piano for Ben when he falls asleep or something. ^_^ So what am I good at? I rock at video games. I'm a pretty good singer too, sometimes. Oh, yeah, and I kick everyone's butt when it comes to being socially awkward. I turned social awkwardness into an art form, boys and girls! You know that shy "um ..." thing, followed by a look at the wall? I invented that! So, class assignment (ooh, look at me, getting all teacher-y)! I want you to tell me, Marie McCabe, the stuff that you're good and bad at. And yes, it can be stuff like "I'm good at finding sissy clothes in my size at half price" or "I'm really good at wetting myself at the exact moment my camera takes a picture of me". Whassup yo? Fo' shizzle! ... I know, I suck at being "gangsta". Sooooo ... baby talk! We all love it, we all use it. It's really weird but it's really awesome. And even better, it's a language that everyone can speak. ^_^ I weally weally wike baby talk ... but don't you think it's really hard to know when and how to speak it? Do you replace "L" or "R" with "W"? Or both? In that sentence just before, I did both. How often should you speak it? If you're writing it down, should you write words normally if there's a danger of people not understanding 'em? It's all up to you, my fellow baby talkers! ^_^ I think everyone has a different way of doing it, sometimes even at different times. It doesn't really matter how or when you speak baby talk. The only really important thing? Making it sound cute! Aww your cwutest baby wordz need to wook and sound cwuter dan dey would if you said 'em as a gwown-up! I've mentioned before that I've wanted to be a baby for as long as I can remember but I occasionally spoke baby talk even before I started being one again. Hey, it's cute! My dad seemed to like it when I acted cute and baby talk helped. Jessie is really good at baby talk, obviously, and I'm sooooo proud of Ben because of how good he is at it too. Maybe even better than me (shock! Horror!). Anyway, now you guys! Do you like baby talk? What are some of your favourite words to say in baby talk? Entry Category: Default Category Published On: 08/07/2009 05:28 PM Awooga! (It's "Agoowa" backwards. Is that easier to remember? Will people say it more now?) Heeey my McNuggets! How's it going? I don't know if I've made a blog about fears before or not and I'm waaaaay too lazy to have a look. It's all the way down the page, there's no way I can look that far ... although I should point out that my mouse is really sucky, so my reason is a tad more valid than most. ^_^ Sooooo ... scary stuff! Big freaky vampires that lurk outside your window and Frankenstein's Monsters that sneak up behind you and eat your cookies when you're not looking! Grrr ... I'm pretty serious too; I guess some people can be scared of monsters like that. As for me? Spiders. They're like monsters! Big ones! And then when you try to drop a newspaper on them, they slink away and get ready to attack you. Seriously! That's why they run away and hide behind the one place in whatever room you're in where you can't quite get to them. And they're way too quick too. I hate that thing they do when they creep along all slowly and then, just as you're about to drop the big English-French dictionary on top of 'em, they move away quicker than you can blink! Okay, after the overwhelming(ly poor) response for my last blog, I've decided to come up with a name for you guys! From now on, all of my fans shall be known as ... *drum roll* ... McNuggets! No, I don't care if it's already taken. No, I don't care if it sucks. That's what comments are for, kiddies! Don't worry about it though. I've thought long and hard about this and really think it's a good name. Marie McCabe's McNuggets. It makes sense to me. Sooooo, other news ... there isn't any. Oh, back at Grace University now and having fun! We found a library that we didn't know existed before. Weird, huh? I keep wondering if there's anything else we don't know about. Like a snake pit! Oh, or a treasure trove! Nah, that's silly ... what would they feed the snakes with? And Jessie made a joke about marrying Ben and now, Ben is pretty much in a dreamworld. It's so cute. You can tell that he's making a seating chart in his mind. It's sweet that he thinks about it so much. Like you could be a group of ... M-Fans! Or something. I've been having a hard time coming up with the name. All my ideas suck, like "Mariemates" or "McCabie's Babies" or "The Merry Marie Marching Society" ... and please never ask me to repeat "McCabie's Babies" again. It's not compulsory, of course. If you don't want to be a ... When friends have asked if I wanted to go out and I have said I couldnt because I was A ill. B busy. C aliens had stolen my shoe. The real reason was I was having little girl time and that was way too important. Felt a little bad that I couldnt tell the truth but little girl time doesnt happen that often and I soooooooooooooo need little girl time. Mmmmmm who would I love to change my nappy? On baby talk though, I don't reallys do that, but I tends to pluralizes my words sometimes without noticing it (as opposed to now). And I often call things with more childish words than adults like Brekky for breakfast too. But I don't baby talk unless I am having a super regressive day to re-gain my mental health.
