Because I disappeared off the face of the earth for over a month. That's the only reason for me not making blogs, right? Awooga! (Maybe it'll catch on if it's not at the beginning of the blog) So where I have I been? In the land of the bored. Maybe that's a little exaggerated but it's not an exaggeration to say I've had nothing to write about. Literally, nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. But I must have stuff to write about now, right? Otherwise I wouldn't be back? Um ... well no, not exactly. Ben thought some of my friends here on SK might be missing me and, as much as he wanted to have me all to himself, he thought it'd be nice if I checked in. Sweet of him to think of you guys, right? ^_^ Hey, me and Ben made some new friends. Tina and Peter. They're both reeeeeally nice -- well, kinda. Tina had a problem with me for a while -- and we've been hanging out with them lately. Peter reminds me of Ben a little. He's kind of like how Ben was when he first got into diapers and baby stuff. Shy but sweet, y'know? Tina is nice too but she seems a little bossy. Bleh, who am I to talk? =P I'm not usually any good at meeting new people. It freaks me out a little. I wonder what they'll think of me and if they'll stare at me if I say something too ... um, Marie-like. Ben worries about it too but he's a little better at it than me. I think it's because he's a little quieter. I think I'm, like, a little too hyperactive, maybe? You know, I can't feel comfortable around people if they're not used to me doing cartwheels around the room with a diaper on my head? Ben's fine as long as he doesn't have to say much. Anyways, glad to be back y'all! How do you guys deal with meeting new people? Easier to remember, you know?) Thought I should start blogging a little more regularly but -- story of my life -- I can't think of anything to write. Anyone seen anything interesting lately? Seen a dog with five legs? Or a pigeon that can fly without flapping its wings? Or New Moon? Yup, all's dull in the life of Marie McCabe. I'm pretty much ready to fall asleep. Hmm ... hey, this might sound a little weird but since it's a pretty slow Mlog-day, I guess I'll tell you. Does anyone else read a book or watch a movie and picture themselves as one of the characters? Or as an extra character? Seriously, I pictured myself in every single Harry Potter book. Every time it said "Harry, Ron and Hermione", I read "Harry, Marie, Ron and Hermione". ^_^ Seriously, I'd thought it through a lot. I was a descendant of Godric Gryffindor and my Patronus was a lion ... Too nerdy? [raises eyebrow] I was probably a total Mary Sue but whatever ... It's not just Harry Potter though. Happened with Final Fantasy VII for a little while too ... and Final Fantasy VIII ... and Final Fantasy X, lest we forget. Oh, and Space Jam, when I was a kid. Me and Lola Bunny, smooching in the locker rooms ... Ahem. Anyway, enough about me and my adventures into fiction. ^_^ Please tell me you did the same thing, so I don't feel weird. You don't have to admit to having a crush on Tifa or Hermione, like I did, but it'd still be nice to know. ... Hey, I was young! 'kay, I think I've done pretty well for this blog. Entry Title: Superpowers Entry Category: Default Category Published On: 11/30/2009 02:20 PM Awooga! (What do you think? Maybe I should stop the "Awooga"?) Ugh, two weeks since my last blog. How do the days disappear so fast without me realising it? Time flies when you're having fun, I guess ... but I've been sitting and doing nothing for a few weeks, so where did all the time go for me? By the way, is anyone else's blog suffering from ... um, "whiteboxitis"? All I'm seeing is a white box and a scrollbar. We used to have fancy buttons on a toolbar at the top of the white box but they're gone now. No Bold, no Hyperlink, no "Insert Picture" ... what about my Italics!? I NEED my Italics! (You see, if I had my Italics, that "need" wouldn't have been in capital letters.) So, for the moment, I'm doing this acapella. Without fancy toolbar buttons. Which means my writing will be purple instead of black and my cute-as-can-be hearts ( Anyway, you know what's on my mind right now? Superpowers. I might've talked about this before -- I think about superpowers more than I should -- but, hey, there's nothing to say that two blogs can't be about superpowers. Some people talk about their family, Marie McCabe talks about superpowers. ^_^ And friends and crushes and crushes' girlfriend ... I think lots of people would want a superpower like flight but, come on, seriously? It's cold up there in those clouds. Even Spider-Man must get cold when he's swinging around on webs. That skintight suit can't be the warmest outfit in the world, can it? And I actually think I'd feel the same way about super speed. Wind rushing in your face? No thanks. [shivers] I actually think I'd like something pretty basic. Being able to change the colour of my clothes would be a good one. ^_^ I'm not really into fashion -- a diaper and some footie pyjamas are all I need to complete my perfect wardrobe -- but it'd be pretty cool to experiment with colours. How many different pink baby outfits can you wear before it gets old? (The answer to that rhetorical question is "a lot", as my BFF Ben will tell you, and pink is great! But I've always had a soft spot for baby yellow. And who came up with the rule that baby blue isn't for girls?) I guess shapeshifting would be an obvious step forward from that but I wouldn't like it. What if shapeshifting was so easy that I'd forget how I looked? Like, if it was so simple to just switch my nose, eyes, mouth, cheeks and stuff for someone else's, what if I tried to turn back into me but got something wrong? Like made my eyebrows too arched or something? Or made my hair a shade too dark? My friends (friends? Plural?) would be weirded out. ... Okay, deep breaths ... taking this waaaaay too seriously ... but you know what I mean, don't you o-reader-of-blogs? It'd suck if someone you cared about didn't recognise you. Anyway, let's finish on a happy note with another superpower I'd like to have. Mind-reading would rock sooooo much, wouldn't it? ^_^ Being able to pick out the perfect Christmas presents for your friends or being in a store and being able to know if any other shoppers were adultbabies too or knowing what to say to make your best friend's sister fall in love with you ... Forever. Never to break again. Until it breaks, anyway ... I know I've been gone a long time. Over a month. I missed you all. Sorry I didn't find some other way to talk to you. What's that? The forum, you say? Hmm ... I'm not really a "forum" person. I'm more of a "give people updates, then disappear for a week" kind of person. It seems to suit everyone pretty well. Well, nobody's said anything about it yet ... *shifty eyes* So, what's been happening with Marie? Would it totally unbelievable if I said "nothing"? I guess I've had lots of fun but there's no progress on the Marie/Sarah/Sam front and the Ben/Jessie front is just as progress-less. Hmm ... oh, I got a digital camera! That's something, right? ... Marie here again, after a lengthy absence away from you all. Sorry I've been gone so long but I ... I was on a quest to find a pot of gold that some vampires had stolen from some leprechauns and, if I retrieved it for them, they said I could take my pick of the beautiful maidens they had swimming around in their ... fish tank. Yeah ... that's a fib. But the honest answer involved teaching an eighteen-year-old boy how to wet a diaper and that just makes me sound odd. As fun of a place as this is, full of great people, babies and non-babies, I don't think there are many diaper-wetting tutors. ^_^ Yeeeeeah, I'm one of a kind. That makes me feel special ... Have you ever had to make up an excuse about why you weren't where you should've been at some point? Did it suck? And have you ever heard an excuse that made you think "aw, you are SUCH a liar! Keira Knightley did NOT change your diaper last night!"? If I ever heard an excuse like that, I think I'd be mad but be waaaaay too much of a coward to bring it up with the person. Besides, I'd probably be way too busy fantasising about having my diaper changed by Keira Knightley. How awesome would that be? Say, that's a*good topic ... which celebrity would you like to treat you like*a baby? Or which celebrity would YOU like to treat like a baby? I know not everyone here is "into that" so, for all of you who are happy to just be girly-girls, who would you like to dress up with for a night out? Do you think you'd like Naomi Campbell to do your makeup or Jennifer Aniston to pick out a pair of shoes for you? ^_^ I think I'd prefer to just stay home and play videogames than do that, actually. You like to play video games with Ben, so ... are there any video games that you really like, but that you know you're really bad at? For me it's racing games. They're fun except ... I suck at them! I'm always running off the track, and then by the time I get back on, every single other racer, including the computer ones, has gone past me and I'm dead last. Somebody not falling for you is ... unthinkable! As in she just isn't thinking! I don't get it! Marie, you just pick yourself right back up and keep being that wonderful charming person we all know you are. Who knows what will happen in the future? That Sarah girl might change her mind and decide that you're way better than this Sam person. Or this might just be a brief fling.
