"Impressionable"
Good afternoon everyone! *Huggles*
I've decided to share with you all an older poem of mine
(it's one I'm quite self-concious of)
that reflects the things I'm going through right now.
I'm studying really hard to become a doctor of diagnostic medicine.
An inspiration I got from watching many, many episodes of "House"
But anyways, I understand this poem is neither sissy, nor babyish
but it has a meaning. So I hope it passes here... *eep*
F.B.
"Impressionable"
Life's a question of tranquility
A measure of indeterminable insight
Painted in bold hues of purity, colored with time
The smallest stars in the galaxy bear the brightest shine
Even when the beauty of our earth becomes obscured in lies
A reflection of clarity still gleams in their eyes
People's only real enemy exists deep in their minds
If we could all overcome our fears, prejudices and crimes
The simplicity of happiness could grow its flowers in our lives
Wouldn't it be nice to love every body you have ever known?
Without regret reminding your heart of those failures you've sown?
I'm lonely inside, bitter and unwise but I still wonder why…
The whole wide world fears the nature of its home
Rested underneath a chestnut tree, sheltered in shade
The world roared on and forgot me in its frustration to change
Now I may possess several dreams that this cruel reality can't make
So I'll give them away to those people I know whose dreams are the same
Humanity's wisdom distorts my being and said knowledge enslaves
For people have forgotten the joyous posterity of childhood days
When they never questioned how much time they had to buy
Or cursed aloud to the storm clouds for raining from the sky
Wouldn't it be nice to give every body a reason to renew hope?
Without feeling trapped by those mistakes you made on your own?
I'm broken inside, weathered from strife but I still wonder why…
The whole wide world can't hear the tears of its soul.
Have a beautiful day my sweeties :)

Early or not, this show all the sensitivity and sophistication I have come to expect from your works. A message of deep and underlying hope predominates, in spite of the delusions of humanity (or, in fact, because they are delusions rather than realities). You bring forth a great beauty nobility in the inner child, and in that sense this poem is perfectly relevant to this site (and would be well worth being here even if it wasn't).

Agreed. This touches on many points that we feel collectively.
Perfect in its execution and beautifully speaking of the nature of this world.
*hugs* Wonderful
I wish you best of luck with your studies :)

Shades the sunlight's parting gleam
I can feel the breeze caress my cheeks
Whispering melodies lost inside my heart
Violets and daisies line the fields of the park
As I see Ryobaby, picking flowers before dark
For the Sissy Kiss family playing just as they are.
As evening's twilight blossoms behind
The pale, silver moon arising into the sky
Sweet and girly sissies cradle their dollies
Each grasping a violet flower at their side
Given by the compassionate Ryobaby
Whose verses continue to inspire me
Yet time is fading, forgive my inconsistency
I cry for a dream that's more than make-believe
Forever in your honor, Princess of My Twilight"
