Autumn's elegance softly cries
Golden leaves swirl 'round before they kiss
The painted lips of mommy's gentle smile
As the sun returns to make its morning wish

Although seasons may be changing...
And our time to play keeps fading...

Deep in the perfume of love's mysteries
We wear that scarlet dress of our dreams
Even if it means that no one can ever tell
How much your heart yearns to dance out loud

With compassion being a measure of empathy
The path to freeing your own inner beauty
May feel like a whole universe unto itself
When you're underneath society's spell

Silken flowers unfold and do not hide
The brilliance of their colors our eyes conceive
Which always reminds me of the very first time
My curious and delicate hands painted a masterpiece

Before innocence became so fleeting...
And wonder lost its sense of meaning...

Ideas of happiness are so eloquently defined
Can't seem to tell whose truth is actually a lye
Dress and hug me tight if your answers teach so well
There's no use in denying my heart its chance to help

And born again into a world of true unity
Cute as anything my spirit has ever achieved
It's never easy praying for these dreams aloud
Though reason leaves no doubt to all we haven't found.

It's an wonderful poem, that says so much so beautifully.

For me that time is now dim and almost extinguished.
Yet your poem is full of light in a somewhat dark and lonely world.

If only you could write a script for Society the world would be such a beautiful place.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone
who continues to read my poetry here.
Normally I wouldn't bump such an old thread
but I've always felt that I reached my peak with this one.

The works and inspiration which came after "Society's Spell"
have never truly been as crystal-clear as the profound truth
I discovered on the morning I finished this lovely treasure :)
