Vibrating Butt plugs are very nice to wear and do add an extra sensation depending on the size and shape. I have one which has seven speed settings and is very nice.
But as been mentioned before do you plenty of lube and take care.
The one I have does sometimes get hot if it is used to much on the high speed settings.
I think I might invest in a wireless one, so that I can put the controller out of reach and have no control over the vibrations.

I have one in this style, though mine is adjusted by turning a dial on the end of the toy itself, not on a remote. This is the best shape that I ahve tried so far, apart from penis shaped ones, which are generally thicker. My advice will be to get one thats MAX one inch wide. wireless remotes are more expensive, and if its solo play may not be the way to go initially, especially if you are not sure you like it vibrating.

Awesome! use plenty of lube, don't be shy. Also you might want to think about a strainght vibe, smaller than the butt plug. This can help loosen you up for the plug if you are inexperienced. Also sometimes it is fun to leave something in, and other times it is fun to slide something in and out. Sometimes it's fun to use the plug like a vibe and slide it in and out too. I have a small straight vibe, a medium butt plug, and a big doddle shaped vibe as thick as the thick part of my plug. WOW!! they can be lot's of fun, though the little doesn't get used much any more giggle.

Careful april baby, apparently vibes can slip all the way in and be difficult to remove whereas plugs are like paci's and have a rim to stop them going in too far.

I actually owned a vibrating plug for three months
but lost it shortly after I moved. Starting out with a small one
helped a great deal, I used baby oil for lubrication and it worked wonderfully :)

The only downside, as Akuti has pointed out, that without a rim
on the bottom, the butt plug can slip right in and that's a frightening experience!
Having it inserted just enough so that it's balanced on the outside
and tickles the skin left me squirming for more!
I definitely recommend purchasing one, especially if like me,
you're worried about using the larger "toys."
