Eternal Youths and other oddities

Hello everyone, I had an Idea that I thought should be shared. I don't know how many people, if any, who plays World of Darkness roleplaying system, But even if no one does Im sure they might enjoy reading through a babified version of various systems from it, I really hope you guys end up liking these. I want to do more for you and maybe even start up a game in the forums for it once I finish them

I've started with WOD Mummy the Resurrection, and I intend to do Mage, Werewolf (werecubs anyone), and vampire (I can't wait to get them). Then I'll probably move on to Exalted and any others that strike my fancy (I think im in love with the Scion system).

without further ado here is the first of (hopefully) many. World of Darkness is copyright White Wolf, all copyrighted materials are property of there respective owners.

Mummies=Eternal Youths

For those deemed worthy by the great Judge Mothers a powerful elixir is given causing the Soul to regress to infancy. The excess spiritual mass becomes a great deal of power as well as the force that replenishes itself and resurrects the body.

The body is the mirror of the soul and so it must be affectd by its sudden change. So at Rebirth the body and soul are at their strongest, physically 20 in age with full control over faculties and abilities. Since the body follows the soul it ages backwards and the soul becomes tired as it supports the body over time. Eventually the body loses control and needs caring for. This can be slowed by indulging the souls current state, for example acting childish, wearing diapers, playing, and drinking from a bottle are all ways to slow the need to be dependent. It should be noted that the inherent magic and spells are never lost at any age (though the energy necessary may lower), so even as the body ages to newborn the Eternal Youth may cast a spell capable of leveling a city (albeit in a cute way)

If the body is killed or regresses below newborn the player may vanish with a smile in the knowledge that baring utter and complete destruction of the soul (a sin which will stain the cause forever) they are eternal and everlasting immortals, and they will be back. As the body fades the soul falls to the Judge Mothers and they hold the infant soul to their breasts and let it strengthen itself on divine milk. They then dress the soul in celestial garb with a special piece acting as a sort of sin diaper. They know of humanities need to sin even against laws to protect them so this diaper collects the souls sins for their lifetime. The amount of time it needs to rest depends upon it’s sin diaper. As the mothers change the child they know the sort of life it led and how to punish or reward the infant soul on it’s rebirth.

After that task the mothers always care for the soul until its strong enough to support it’s body at full capacity once more. When that task is complete the soul travels back to life.

The celestial clothing the soul is dressed in protects it along it’s journey often resembling various types of baby clothes such as onsies and dresses or sailor suits and bonnets with booties (Be creative to the personality of the character)

So what do Eternal Youths get for all these detriments 14/12/6 for attributes, 16/12/8 for abilities 10 dots to arrange for powers and no limits on them (go above 5). All good things however, all of these stats weaken as you grow younger, indulging your childish side staves it off but inevitably you become a child. GM discretion on the rate of weakening

The Rules
Each one is equally important. Mastery of any one aspect grants a dot to The Rules rating


Purity in Childhood: maintaining innocence is important to preserving your souls strength.

Respecting Elders: honoring age and wisdom to aid you is what allows parents to form good bonds to children don’t ignore this crucial action

The Obedient Child: Listening to the wise learning and submitting when necessary are all aspects of the eternal youth.

Playfulness: accepting your infant soul and indulging it with childish play stabilizes it and helps you impress the judges.

Know Your Limits: as you get younger with the weakening of your soul you will need to accommodate it and prepare for the future.

Find a Caring Person: As your needs become deeper a suitable companion (or companions) becomes necessary. Finding someone you trust this much can be a difficult task but it is necessary.

Making the Most: Notice your surroundings while you can. As you come back in the grip of power, revel in it, As you grow weaker and dependent enjoy it. You will get to come back and do it many times it’s easy to take it for granted but it must never be.

Enlighten Others: showing others who and what you are can be dangerous but sometimes rewarding. Take care and if you see someone in a predicament like yours was help them with it.

Protect others in Need: You may be just a child but that doesn’t mean you can’t do your part in the grande work. If someone is sad or lonely be there for them. If someone is being bullied protect or teach them. You have power and it comes with the knowledge that the world needs help, So you must not ignore it.

The Mothers Love You: You are always loved, take solace in that.

Eternal Youths may purchase and use any Hekua that Mummies may employ; however any use of powers by Eternal Youths has a decidedly childish cast to it (GM decision)


I figured this would be a good way to really get out there in the forums and contribute to the site. I appreciate any usefull feedback and await your thoughts.

goodness its been awhile, I ended up going on an impromptu vacation into the fabled Canadas. it was pretty neat (I even snuck wearing a diaper for a day, but I think someone noticed)

Im really sorry for not posting and think you for the invite im sorry i didn't get back to you sooner.

But enough of that stuff Im sure people are interested in the system info. World of Darkness or WOD is a gaming world created by White Wolf, in it the world is just like ours except, well, darker. That sinister looking house on the corner that all the kids make dares about is probably really haunted or actually has a demonic entity living inside, The whole of the oil problem is really a set of Illuminati esq controllers called the Technocracy who advance the wellfare of enlightened science, by controlling everything they can protect everyone (even from themselves and oh did i mention that they will stop at nothing to eradicate anything that shouldn't exist according to their Ideals, so long supernatural).

The strange things in the world really are strange so what do you get to do as a role player, whatever you want. The systems for playing in world of darkness (and supsequently what you get to play as) are as follows (I go by Old WOD by the way)

Mage the Ascension: Reality isn't as set as we thought (or as the technocracy wants you to think) Science is just another form of magic and what the masses beleive is true literally Is True. The more people believe something the stronger it is, In the old days a mage could walk the heavens shatter mountains and cause fear and respect in nearly everyone they met. Now they can still do all of that, for their will is that strong, but reality gets even so to speak and depending on how against consensual reality it was the worse the backlash (if it was bad your lucky simply to die). So the Technocracy are winning purely because they can easily convince the people of new laws sciences and technologies and that the outdated old methods of the past are nothing but superstitions. Play a mage and fight the technocracy or (and this is important) realize the futility of fighting and use magery for it's true purpose and attempt to gain Ascension, to overcome this world and see and understand what things are truly about.

Mummy the Ressurrection: You know all those old myths about Osiris and Set and the great war they had, Yeah turns out they weren't myths and Sets a vampire jerk and Osiris is some kind of incredibly potent spirit. So what's a demigod esq critter to do when Set makes an army of immortal vampires, ask his wife about it of course. Isis came up with the elixir of immortality but unlike a vampire these beings are basically human and mortal (with some neat tricks and spiritual benefits) they don't actually age but they do die after a period of time, only they come back to life in the peak of health, ready to fight and die again. And that's just the egyptians the south american tribes have their own version of the spell and so do the Dioist monks (ever hear of the eight immortals) theirs predates the others actually, but then theirs the setite version (it's not a happy version) and the Hebrew version tacken from the egyptian version and converted. In the end youve got a bunch of different immortals all doing their own thing for their own masters it can get pretty crazy.

Theres plenty more and i'll get back to those soon. And Ill also detail the system rules and special qualities for the various supernaturals.

anyway sorry about the late post and I actually don't have anything to post except to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about this and I will be continuing it soon.
