Lovestruck butterflies Description:
Been a while, thought I would try a different style
From an echo came a thought, unburdened, unhurried,
it swelled greatly, indifferent, yet as unique as snow
Blushing cheeks felt it's warmth
And glow they did in response
Such a thought could change the world, yet humble it stayed silent
To be who to be can I be who I want to be, when everyone see's me but not me? Do you see?
Guided gently with desire that slowly burned bright from an out of sight place
Footsteps made no sound, yet could be heard, how strange
Comfort in that desire fought hard to be normal, but questioned what was normal anyway
The man spotting trains would be ridiculed by some, more so in a dress of pink.....
So would I be less ridiculed in a dress of pink if I did not spot trains?
Comfort found it's place for it was needed as much as air
But it knew how to hide from those who would taunt
"Sissy boy, sissy boy, sissy boy!"
Yes! Yes! Yes!
To spend time making sense of why seems wasteful when dollies sit un-played
Their eyes fixate on the poor sissy boy compelled to be he, tee hee, why me?
Oh so complex is the reason to the answer of the question I do not yet know
Just BE! Who me? Yes ME
That time, ever fleeting, could pause so that love struck butterflies could bask in the glory of Spring
How I wonder, how I dream
To be everyday a little girl in a world of unicorns who graze on pink grass
That man is a memory and beauty is what dwells and swells inside
And how I ache to run free, full of that tee hee hee, full of happiness
And when I close my eyes each night, so the world I know is out of sight
The dreams I dream will never change....................
One day? No way!

"The Flowers of Friendship "
By Jennifer Funshine
~ Written For Amanda ~
A gentle butterfly flutters by her window
The subtle breeze kisses her cheek tenderly
Only Heaven can hear the words she whispers
Only angels have seen the color of her dreams
There's a special memory kept within a locket
Next to the ivory music chest upon her dresser
When that ballerina dances, Amanda remembers
How those dreams gave her the strength to be free
And believe...
In the flowers of friendship
Camellia, jasmine and daisy chains
And in my heart is sown only one wish
That she know the gift of love, unashamed
At it's core this earth we adore is loveless
People's compassion always plays hide and seek
Still, Amanda stands before these foolish judges
And with every word she expresses in her speech
The garden of her soul grows even more vibrantly
Rain like tears of joy descend upon supple twilight
Starry sky painted with majestic hues of rose-violet
Adorned in pink satin panties and tangerine sun dress
Amanda lovingly tends to her garden, full of happiness
So full of happiness...
In the flowers of friendship
Marigold, delphiniums and sage
Her love unfolds through the ages
She knows every one by their names.
With Much Love

A true delight to read, Samantha. I really enjoyed your self-reflective take
on this challenging opus, whose position gets so over looked in this fast-paced world.
There are at least a million people every day, all of them wondering who
and what to be... the answer to their query has never been as clear:
Just BE! Who me? Yes ME
And when I close my eyes each night,
so the world I know is out of sight
The dreams I dream will never change....................
One day? No way!
I honestly couldn't agree more!
*hugs close*

Bravo!
I am still new to reading Poems. This one is very good and I can see you have talent for writing Poems. It seems to be a bit about yourself and a lot of us here at Sissy Kiss.
