I have decided i would like to start involuntarily wetting the bed at night as part of my overall regression. does anyone have any advice on how i can start doing this, hopefully with the eventual result of wetting without waking up for it?

I find a few nights in nappies gets me wetting the bed afterwards.

Your potty training from years ago is surprisingly difficult to overcome and defeat. I wear diapers every night and I wouldn't wet them unless I woke up and consciously tried. So I think it takes a lot more than just wearing diapers every night.
Having said that, I have had some success but it takes a real effort. I start by having a couple drinks, not enough to get really drunk, just tipsy. Then I'll pound several glasses of water (which is great for combatting the alcohol in the morning). If you take too long to consume the water, you'll go to bed having to pee and may not even be able to get to sleep. Obviously, you could just wet yourself but the key is to being able to do it without being aware you're doing it.
Lastly, I'll take a few small swigs of Niqil and climb into my crib. The latter will keep you asleep for those critical first hours. Having done this, I'll wake up in the early hours of the morning with a nice soaking wet diaper and having no memory of how it happened. Nothing beats that feeling of knowing you're a true sissy bedwetter.

I don't know if they work (don't have the courage to use them for fear they might work all too well) but there are tons of files on Www.warpmymind.com that assist with wetting and diapers...

you should drink a ton of water before going to bed and if you wake up, just pee yourself then repeat till you dont wake up to pee and you're body will do the rest

I agree with the others that you should definitely drink a lot of water before hand. But also know that it's not just gonna be an instant thing. For the first weeks you'll probably have to conciously release your urine, and just resist the urge to get out of bed and go to the toilet. Eventually though your body will go along with your mind and let go naturally.

green tea is a natural diuretic and also nature made has a great sleep aid called natural sleep im sure if you drank some green tea and took this drug you should wet the bed with out waking up but id ad some medical diuretic's just to be sure

look at the post called "how to diaper train yourself" i believe it has some overall diapertraining as well assome bedwetting tips i too am working on the bed wet thing alsoi would suggest that if u have bathroom in ur bedroom close it and tape a sign thats says something like "wet the bed" also i suggest u wet the bed when u
wake in the morning. also u may to tell urself its ok to wet the bed so u can pound it into ur sub conscious. also if u wanna really regress id suggest u not use a toilet during the day at all just so u can weaken/break ur potty training.

What I usually do is listen to some bed wetting hypnosis tapes. Obviously not everyone is the same so if it doesn't work, here's what I do. Every night, drink lots of water. Then, every night, conciously wet your diaper or panties. Do this for a while and you (Might) start to not be able to control it. I did that, and I occasionally wet myself overnight. The longer that I do it, the more I lose control. But for starters, I'd say hypnosis.

Agreed Warpmymind is good. Also I heard a warm bath before bed with a full bladder helps. That may be a myth though.
