Coming Soon: Babes in Diapers Comics
Found this over at Babes in Diapers, figured given how popular the whole forced humiliating regression thing is over here that it would be a favourite. ;)
There's two samples up at Deviant Art (on Okayokayokok's page), and the commissioner has said that the full thing will be available to buy soon.
Personally I've dabbled with the idea of doing pay-for-comics a few times (commissioning somebody else to draw them, then making them available for a small price to help equalise the cost), so will be interested to see how well this series goes.

I like the idea of comics like this, and of the whole automated nursery thing, but I'm not sure if I'll get this or not... Five pages isn't all that long, especially when they already have two of those posted as samples, so essentially you're just paying for the last three. And the artwork isn't bad, but it does seem slightly off to me somehow. I suppose it will come down to how much it costs, ultimately.

Yeah I was feeling the exact same way, particularly on the art being good but somehow off. It's up now here for $6, which is only $5.50 Australian due to our conversion rate at the moment... so I'm thinking that I might just do it. Would be good if it turned out profitable enough to make more, which may improve with time.

Yeah, part of my thought of wanting to get it was that it would be good to support this endeavor so that they could make more that would hopefully get better. I told myself I'd probably get it if it was under $5... But 6 isn't too much more... Still not sure if I'll get it or not, but I am glad it exists so I could.

I got it, was okish. Had some great drawings/scenes, though the text/character's actions weren't always up my alley (seemed a bit light-hearted), I'm such a picky customer. :P (did have a good final ending though which I think you'd enjoy for specific reasons, Pottypants..)
It does also go a bit fast considering how much was already in the samples, but I guess that was necessary and was ok for a first batch. I'd personally still support it knowing what was in it. (it's not necessarily much better than what artists occasionally put out for free, but for those of us wanting to commission art, it could make the endeavour affordable, and have stuff coming out more often)

I'am a massive fan on the Babes in Diapers blog, check it every day and love Parker's stories, i also quite enjoy the artists work, but i won't be buying this, firstly i don't want to store it on my computer, secondly some one will probably upload it some where and thirdly i would only read it once or twice then forget about it.

I don't plan on buying it, but I do love some of OkayokayOKOK's artwork. Check out "Little Bo Peep" and "MMMM?" (partial image in my icon above and full image at My Photos page). Very nice adult baby images. Also, Parker's (the author of "Prisoner of the Mechanical Nursery") blogposts are a lot of fun...I forgot about that old "Bad Ronald" music video...(see the blog entry for May 26, 2011).

On a related note, I think his DA has more than two pages.. doesn't it? When I looked at least I swore he upped four or so.
We stand in awe of that which cannot be seen.

My PayPal is currently deactivated due to switching to a new bank card, so I haven't had a look at it yet. If somebody buys it, I'd be interested in any feedback. ^_^ I think that it may have been commissioned by a different author, but was drawn by the same artist.
