A GODDESS
BY AMANDA
Summer breezes cool my skin
Nipples perked in mountain air
Nude on my cabin deck
I paint my nails, brush my hair
I glimpse movement on the path
A ghost, a wraith? not clearly seen
Which goddess has appeared to me
Her face in shadow I cannot see
No garments hide her perfect skin
Her hair is bathed in golden sun
All her limbs are smooth and tanned
At such radiant beauty I start to tremble
With silver slippers on her feet
She glides to me with easy grace
And offers me her sweet embrace
Then hugs me closely to her breast
I strain to view her hidden face
The gust of breeze that stirs her hair
Reveal a smile of one so fair
That now I know her name is ...
Thanks for reading. One of the goddesses here at SK indirectlygave me the
idea. She probably doesn't know she did. This one was fun to see how the words played out. Hope you liked it. Comments good and bad are always welcome. HUGS to all
