"Distant Daybreak"
This poem is about my special someone, Oh how I wish deeply I could see her, to hold her hands and kiss her gently. She is my daybreak...
"This dark-lit room, whispering back at me
Thoughts running through my head
Hearing the echos of distant lullabies
Paper flowers blown by silent winds
Scatter by my windowsill
Will daybreak ever come?
Sleepless nights bring bitter embraces
Empty words dance behind my back
The monitor shines bright pink
As I stare deep into oblivion
Solemnly longing to hold your fragile hands
Starlight illuminates the distance between
Kissing your screen name as I shed a tear
I whisper I love you to the barren darkness
Discord fills my dreamless night."

This is a beautiful poem. I truly hope that someday you will get your wish to be with that special someone!

Such emotion... this poem is one of your best, Ryobaby as it invites the reader
to share in the brooding, yet empathetic atmosphere and challenges us to gaze
beyond the darkness of solitude and search out our true love in this life.
Bravo, my muse your thoughts, as ever intrigue my poet's heart! *hugs* :)
