Most of us have dealt with it to some extent or the other, normally I don't have too many problems with the icky problem that is acne. I was wondering if anyone here knows of something that will knock it out. Red bumps aren't very cute!!

Hey hey,
Just thought id put my two cents in. before i started transitioning i had AWFUL acne all over my chin and i decided id sort that out first. i went to the skin clinic and tried getting facials and even medication (cant remember what the treatment/meds were called, it was years ago) that helped alot, thers also the usual program of cleasing, exofliating and moistureising in the morning... but really i didnt completely loose my acne till i started hormones (and thats a bit far to go go if u just want clear skin!)

I've suffered from acne and I went to the dermatologist and they prescribed me accutane. But later it came back full force. I later realized I was a "speed washer" so after I slowed down and washed my skin for a full 60 seconds with a mild cleanser and a soft washcloth my acne pretty much completely went away; it's pretty crazy how something so simple can make such a difference.

Hi everyone:
I have mild acne, but my face has stubble like mini craters :(
Is there something to smooth out my face.. please?

Craters are usually caused by scarring a lot of people put vitamin E capsules on their face to help fade scars(Ive never tried it though). Microdermabrasion is probably the best way to smooth out scars though, luckily a few at home Microdermabrasion kits have hit the market (I recommend looking on youtube for product reviews before buying because I'm sure they're not cheap).
Make sure to exfoliate every once in a while too! An easy way to do that is to add a sprinkling of baking soda onto your regular soap before washing. it'll clear off dead skin and help prevent bumps from ingrown hairs and clogged pores making your skin baby soft. (I've found though if I do it more than twice a week my skin gets dry though)
