A Cream Eyeshadow is a well, cream. You squeeze it out of a tube, or dip out of a jar and apply. When it dries it will become a powdery texture. You have to watch out for creasing though but usually running your finger over your eye will smooth things out. For the brightest color possible, put on the cream eyeshadow, then put a matching powder eyeshadow on top of it. Voila. I like M.A.C paints because the colors are so bright and pretty.

This is most likely the easiest type of eyeshadow to use, and best to start with if you're not sure. You can use a teeny bit for a sheer tint or build up on the color for a more solid-ish look. The only thing I dislike about powders is they don't last as long as creams. This Tony&Tina eyeshadow is one of my favorites because of the silky textures and opaque shades.

Liquid shadow looks actually like a lip gloss. It is applied like a lip gloss as well. You dip the wand in the tube and then you apply onto your eye. It will dry in a powderlike form. This is really easy to use, and also is much brighter than powder shadow.
Maybelline Liquid Eyes (http://maybelline.com), $5

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/BabieSparkles/eye_liner.jpgEyeliner
Eyeliner is a fine pencil meant to draw a line around your eyes to define them and make them stand out more. I like this Clinique liner cause one side it is the eyeliner pencil and the other side is a smudger with shadow so you can have this smudged smokyish look. Applying eyeliner takes practice but once you get it, it will look really good.
Clinique Quick Eyes (http://clinique.com), $15.50

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/BabieSparkles/eye_liquid.jpgLiquid Eyeliner
Just like a normal pencil eyeliner this will fabulously define your eyes and make them stand out. However it's in a liquid form. And this line is thicker, more dramatic, darker, etc etc. It looks absolutely amazing if done correctly but I must warn you: it takes time to perfect your method of applying liquid liner!
L'Oreal Line Intensifique (http://drugstore.com), $7.99

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/BabieSparkles/eye_gloss.jpgEye Gloss
As with lip gloss, you can squeeze some shiny stuff out of the tube, or in a lip gloss stick form. It won't dry though, you have very pretty shiny stuff on your eyes all day.
