I got a hole in a pair of tights today. They were old so it is no shame really, but I think the company that sold them is shut now so I have to find another place to get shimmery pink tights... any ideas?

That aside - what can we do to recycle these? Well, I have a few ideas - using one right now in fact.

I cut the legs off - the hole is at the knee - and the panties part works GREAT if you are a diaper wearer to hold all that together so it cuts down on crinkle (and annoying loose tapes that eventually will allow a leak!). This is good when you are around others. When it is just you, crinkle crinkle away, of course!

Now, even if you don't wear diapers, I have worn enough tight skirts to know that an unsightly bulge in the skirt can be eliminated by a a good pair of tights - but OMG, what to do in the summer?? Well, this is where your "tights cut-offs" come in handy!

The feet - two ideas come to mind. One, they can be used as baby mittens in a pinch. They will hamper hand use quite a bit. And two, toss your bar soap in one of these and it is super handy - especially when the soap gets down to slivers... now you can use it all up with no problem of losing any, and it works well for lathering up as well.
